At Greene Home Redesign we’ve developed a sophisticated, yet straightforward, approach to every project we do, keeping our customers informed every step of the way. While this may be our renovation project, it is still your home, first and foremost, and we make every effort to work around your schedule.
We bring transparency to each job and develop a process that gives you control over costs and timelines, so you understand what is happening in your home. The work will be carefully supervised, and we’ll always be available to answer any questions you have.
PRE-RENOVATION PROCESS
My pledge to all my customers is the same: To keep them apprised of what’s happening in their home. Before the project gets started, you will be introduced to everyone on the team. That way you’ll know who will be coming through your home on a daily basis and how best to communicate with them.
Initial Site Visit: The initial visit will give us a chance to familiarize ourselves with your home (or the job site) and learn what you want to accomplish. We will review renovation documents at that time.

Second Site Visit: Some projects may require a second site visit from subcontractors, such as plumbers, electricians, painters, so they can develop estimates for their areas of expertise.
Final Estimate: Once the project design and specifications are finalized, we will provide you with a final estimate.
Contract: Once you are ready to proceed with your project, we provide a copy of our standard contract for your review.

RENOVATION PROCESS
Renovation: After securing permits, the work will begin. First, we’ll protect your flooring and erect dust barriers. The project manager will oversee the project, from start to finish, directing crews, checking on quality, interacting with the owner, ordering materials, creating schedules and supervising the team. He will also assist with budgets, schedules and coordination of subcontractors. Regular site meetings are usually scheduled at the site with the owner.
Change Orders: Change orders are changes to the scope of the work detailed in the contract, either up or down.
Project Completion: As the project nears completion, the project team will compile an official "punch list" of outstanding items to be completed. Greene Home Redesign will begin work on those items prior to the client's "punch list” in order to accelerate the project completion.
